AL ZLATEN - World War II, Army Aircorp, P-47 Thunderbolt fighter pilot. Al was shot down over the Rhine River in Europe on his 36th mission. He was captured and became a P.O.W. Al’s story of survival is recorded in his book, “By The Grace of God.”

FRANK CAFLISCH - World War II, Army, 101st Airborne. Frank fought at the Battle of the Bulge, Bastogne, Holland and into Germany in late 1944 and early 1945. Some of his units, including the 506th Parachute Infantry Group helped liberate some of the German concentrations camps at the end of the war.
