Hello, I'm Larry Cappetto.
For the past several years I’ve been documenting and recording stories from America’s Greatest Generation. WWII Veterans are dying at a rate of 1500 per day. I’ve made it my mission to find and record these stories before it’s too late.
“Lest They Be Forgotten” is my tribute, thank you, and labor of love towards those men and women who served our country faithfully over 60 years ago. Our young people need to know FIRST HAND the sacrifices that have gone before them to help secure the freedoms we all enjoy.
As a documentary filmmaker and historian I have interviewed hundreds of war veterans from all over the country, resulting in a series of powerful, inspiring film documentaries. These first hand accounts are a precious opportunity for our younger generation to learn from those of the greatest generation.
To assure these stories will continue to be preserved for history's sake I am asking for your help.

2008, I will be launching a major, national campaign. My goal is to sweep across this country one last time, encouraging our World War II veterans to come forward and tell their stories. America
2008 is also a time to bring this historic presentation into our schools and help teach the history of World War II to our students.
