MY FAVORITE MEMORY OF ROBERT'S INTERVIEW:
Wintering in Arizona, I met Bob and Josephine in Arizona.  I enjoyed talking to Bob about the landing on Omaha Beach on D-day.

Bob was a 2nd Lieutenant with the 2nd battalion, 115th infantry.  They were the first support regiment for Omaha beach.

He landed at 10AM on the Easy Green sector.  Bob was the first man down the ramp of the LCI, (landing craft infantry).

"There was no directed fire going on when we hit the beach.  The 116h was to our right, we were on the left."
